A Complete Insight on 4F-EPH

4F-EPH

4F-EPH widely known as the 4’-fluoro-ethylphenidate is a research chemical that has been recently released. The chemical belongs to the substituted classes of piperidine and is often considered to have a similar structural outline as the ethylphenidate and methylphenidate. It is also said to act like a double or triple monoamine inhibitor like the other compounds that belong to its class.

The IUPAC name of the chemical is ethyl 2-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-(piperidin-2-yl) acetate and it has a molecular mass of 265.3232. The chemical formula of this compound is C15H20FNO2 and its appearance is similar to that of white powdery substance.

Its closest analogue is the 4F-MPH. In simpler terms, 4F-EPH can be termed as a research chemical that has the properties of a stimulant because of the presence of methyphenidate in the compound. Primarily used in research, 4F-EPH is an excellent substitute, and is mostly suitable for comparative studies when testing with various receptors.

The name ethyphenidate is used because of the presence of ethyl, phenyl ring and acetate group in the substance. The ethyl in the name regards to the chain of two specific carbon atoms, phen refers to the phenyl ring, id is the abbreviation used from the piperdine ring and ate refers to the acetate group of the substance that contains oxygen. It can be said that 4F-EPH is a chiral compound which is produced as the part of a recemic mixture.

As the 4F-EPH is a relatively new compound, thorough research is being conducted in many labs in different parts of the world to understand better about its true properties. According to the properties predicted in the ACD labs, the compound contains bond acceptors (3 #H), bond donor (1 #H) and freely rotating bonds (4 #). The substance has a refractive index of 1.511 and a surface tension of 38.7±3.0 dyne/cm. Its flash point and boiling points are 153.0±22.3 C and 329.4±22.0 C at 760 mmHg. Being a 4-substituted fluorine derivative of ethylphenidate, 4F-EPH is structurally different from the methylphenidate. This is mostly because it contains an elongated carbon chain and is structurally the part of a fluorine group.

According to extensive research, 4F-EPH acts with a higher efficiency of dopamine reuptake inhibitor compared to methylphenidate which is also closely related. It is said to effectively boost the levels of dopamine neurotransmitters.  The process is conducted when the chemical binds to and partially blocks the transporter proteins that are said to usually remove the monoamines from their synaptic cleft. This further allows dopamine to collect. You can buy 4F-EPH research chemical directly in our online store.
